The inaugural Broken Pieces Women’s Conference will start at 6 p.m. May 5 and 6 in the indoor shelter house at Brownstown Park, 709 W. Bridge St., Brownstown.

Organizer Sherri Blocker said it’s open to females of all ages, and they are invited to come as they are.

She will be speaking both nights, and the band Fishers of Men will perform both evenings. There also will be door prizes.
