Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will serve as host for the 11th annual Edward Jones Judged Art Show starting Dec. 16.

Entries will be accepted from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays through Dec. 15. Other drop-off times may be arranged by appointment. Entries are $15 for SICA members and $25 for nonmembers. A maximum of two pieces may be submitted. At least one piece must be for sale.

There will be a separate judging for youth, which is defined as prior to their high school graduation. Youth and adult categories can include painting-oil/acrylic, drawing-pastel/watercolor, mixed media and photography.

Winners will be announced and honored at the exhibit reception starting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at the arts center, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

This show will be available for public viewing for the months of December and January. All submissions must be made by the artist. Submitting someone else’s work is not allowed.

Seymour area Edward Jones offices are sponsoring this show for the 11th year in an effort to promote the arts in Jackson County and southern Indiana.

The arts center also will conduct its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Dec. 16 during the opening reception. Attendees will receive an update on what SICA has been up to this year and what it hopes to accomplish in 2022.
