Library to host virtual memoir writing workshop with Jean Harper

Award-winning author Jean Harper will present a virtual memoir writing workshop that will be available on the Jackson County Public Library Facebook page at 2 p.m. Aug. 15.

The workshop will continue to be available on the library’s YouTube channel.

This event was made possible with the support of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Awards powered by Indiana Humanities, which honor the best books written by Indiana authors. Awarded every two years, they celebrate Indiana writers, shine a light on the Hoosier State’s literary community and deepen connections between Indiana writers and readers.

Harper is a recipient of a 2012 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Prose and teaches writing and creative writing at Indiana University East in Richmond.

This workshop is free for all ages.
