Early voting now available in Seymour

The early voting site in Seymour opened Monday morning at Jackson Superior Court I, 1420 Corporate Way.

The site will be open to voters in the county from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

It also will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 3. Voters may cast votes from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 5, just a day ahead of the general election.

Voters must bring a valid identification to vote.

Early voting also is available at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown. Voters may cast ballots from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. in the courthouse lobby.

Voters also may vote by absentee ballot by mail. There are requirements to vote by mail, and voters must follow an application process.
