The early voting site in Seymour opened Monday morning at the Jackson Superior Court I.

The site at 1420 Corporate Way will be open to voters in the county from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

It also will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. this Saturday and Nov. 3. Voters may cast votes from 8 a.m. until noon Monday, Nov. 5, just a day ahead of the general election.

Voters must bring a valid ID to vote.

Early voting also is available at the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St. in Brownstown. Voters may cast ballots from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. in the courthouse lobby.

Voters also may vote by absentee ballot by mail. There are requirements to vote by mail and voters must follow an application process.
