LOOGOOTEE— The current season came to an end for the Trinity Lutheran boys’ basketball team on Saturday, going up against a tough opponent in Evansville Christian. The regional final took place at Loogootee on Saturday afternoon, as the Eagles defeated the Cougars 72-42.

WASHINGTON— The Brownstown Central boy’s basketball team kept rolling Saturday afternoon at the Hatchet House.

COMING UP

Trinity Lutheran continues its postseason journey on Saturday, with a tall task at hand, facing a 23-2 Evansville Christian team. The game is taking place at Loogootee High School at 4 p.m, on Saturday. It will take place at this time and not immediately follow the previous game that starts at 1.

The first winter banquet for the Trinity Lutheran Cougars took place on Thursday, with the Lady Cougars celebrating their 2023-24 season. The team would secure its fifth straight sectional title.
