A free music jam will start at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 in the livery barn at the Jackson County History Center, 105 S. Sugar St., Brownstown.

People are invited to bring their own instruments. Food will be available for purchase from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event is open to the public.
