Medora

The Hornets faced off with Dugger Union on Friday evening. Medora dropped the matchup in four sets, 11-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.

Medora faces Borden on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Crothersville

The Tigers faced off with Christian Academy of Indiana on Friday at Crothersville High School. It was also elementary and middle school night for Crothersville, honoring both teams at the game.

The Tigers dropped the matchup in three sets, 18-25, 13-25, 9-25. Crothersville falls to 4-21 and will travel to Rising Sun at 11 a.m. today.

Trinity Lutheran

The Cougars hosted Providence on Thursday in a showdown between two of the best teams in the state.

Providence pulled out the win in three sets, 25-17, 25-20, 25-15. Trinity fell to 15-11 on the season.

Girls soccer

Seymour

The Owls traveled to Columbus East for a matchup with the Olympians on Thursday. Seymour pulled out the narrow 1-0 victory with the lone goal coming from Katy Roark.

Elizabeth Trueblood locked down the Owls’ net with four saves, recording her fifth shutout of the season.

The Owls improved to 5-10-2 on the season and 3-2-1 in the Hoosier Hills Conference.

The JV team also grabbed a 1-0 win over Columbus East with a score from Kenzie Hinkle. Seymour’s JV team finished it’s season with a 5-2-2 record.

The Owls start sectional on Tuesday against Floyd Central. The meeting will take place at Bedford North Lawrence High School and will start at 7:30 p.m.
