Trinity Lutheran tennis

The Trinity Lutheran boys tennis team lost its match to Jennings County 3-1.

The match got rained out with one match still in progress.

No. 1 singles: Jack Stuckwisch lost to Parker Bates 2-6, 0-6

No. 2 singles: Solomon Hall was leading Ryan Schuck 6-2, 6-6 (they were about to start a tiebreaker before rain halted play)

No. 3 singles: Luke Shepman lost to Isaac Lightner 3-6, 2-6

No. 1 doubles: Nathan Finke and Jonathan Neawedde beat Brady Sentz and Ty Zohrlaut 6-1, 6-3

No. 2 doubles: Drew Kerkhiof and Will Gausman lost to Cole Skinner and Rider Ruddick 2-6, 1-6.

Trinity was not able to get any JV matches in.

Trinity Lutheran soccer

The Trinity Lutheran girls soccer team was scheduled to face Providence. The game was canceled due to rain.

Brownstown Central tennis

The Brownstown Central boys tennis match against Paoli was rained out. The first set was finished in multiple matches, but the second set never occurred.

Medora volleyball

Medora started its 2023 season on Monday.

The girls faced Christian Academy of Madison, winning the matchup 3-1. It’s the first time in 16 years that Medora has won its first volleyball game of the season.

The team will be back in action at West Washington on Thursday.
