Seymour BZA to meet Tuesday night

The Seymour Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes Emmanuel Church Inc. petitioning to not put new sidewalks in as it constructs a new building addition at 1849 First Ave.

Also, Brett Schultz is requesting a variance at 4595 Ashwood Drive to vary from the required 20-foot rear setback to be at 4 foot and to vary from the required 8-foot side setback to be at 2 foot to build a garage, and Jacob Brown is requesting a variance at 3534 Regents Court to put up a fence. The back of Brown’s property butts up to County Road 375N, and the variance is needed since that is a thoroughfare.

The meeting is open to the public and press. Enter through the door along Third Street. Join the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone at global.gotomeeting.com/join/384057085 or by calling 669-224-3412 and entering the access code 384-057-085.
