The Seymour Community School Corp. board of education will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Seymour Central Service Center, 1420 Corporate Way.

The meeting will include the consent agenda, communications and recognition, donations and grants and an update on the school construction projects.

Assistant Superintendent Lisa Ferguson will talk about the recent district art show.

Audience and school board communications will then be heard, followed by Superintendent Brandon Harpe announcing a $1,250 donation to the Seymour High School landscaping class.

There will be action items concerning textbook adoption, athletics, a PERF agreement, subcontractor quotes for the soccer facility and cafeteria signage design and installation at Seymour Intermediate School and Seymour High School.

First read items include 2023-24 student meal prices, OWL Tech handbook, fuel bid and a memorandum of understanding with Centerstone.

The meeting is open to the public and press.

Board members also plan to meet in executive session at 6:15 p.m. today to discuss items related to personnel, property, litigation and school safety. That’s closed to the public and press.
