JoAnn Revalee, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born on September 30, 1932, in Centerville, IN. She was the daughter of Joseph and Samantha Phillips Wrigley.

On June 9, 1949, in Newport, KY, she married her best friend and life partner, Robert A. “Bob” Revalee, who preceded her in death June 8, 2013. They were married for 64 years.

JoAnn was a member of Central Christian Church in Seymour. She retired as a nurse’s aide after 7 years of service at Schneck Memorial Hospital. She also worked as a supervisor at Lichter Rubber Company for 7 years and at the Cake Box Baker for 5 years.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sandy McDonald, Laura (Alvin) Bevers, and Lisa (Carl) Emily; son-in-law Scott Robinson; 11 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Michael Robert Revalee; daughter, Jody Robinson; son-in-law Larry McDonald; grandchild, Beth Ann Surenkamp; brothers, James Wrigley, Joseph Wrigley; and sisters, Mabel York, Emma Field, and Ida Thrasher.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Voss and Sons Funeral Service in Seymour. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. at the Voss and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
