The Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir will welcome spring with the Voices of Spring concert at 7 p.m. April 21 at First United Methodist Church, 618 Eighth St., Columbus.

Singers as young as first grade will present a full concert for the community. All are welcome, and tickets are not required for entry. A freewill offering will be taken.

The choir is a longtime cooperative effort between the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic and Indianapolis Children’s Choir.

The concert will feature the organization’s preparatory, descant and concert choirs. Those choirs are comprised of young singers from Bartholomew County and surrounding communities.

The concert also will feature the sounds of the First United Methodist Church choir.

The Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir offers musical experiences to students from 4 years old to ninth grade.
