Mildred Cain Brown, 84, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on March 31, 2023, at the Lutheran Community Home. Mildred was born on November 18, 1938, in Liberty, Kentucky to Haskel and Gladys (Gentian) Gosser. In addition to being a homemaker, Mildred had been a seamstress for OshKosh and owned several businesses. Mildred had attended Rockford United Methodist Church.

Mildred is survived by her children: Deborah (Robert) Holton, Mitchell (Pamela) Cain, Alex (Ann) Cain, Allan (Kim) Cain and Jonathan (Roxanne) Cain; brother, Phillip (Kathy) Gosser; sisters-in-law: Nevada Gosser and Renate Gosser; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, children: Marsha and Jacqueline Cain, brothers: Clifton, Lowell “Roger” and Haskel “Buck” Gosser.

Funeral services for Mildred will be at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 465 Poplar Springs Rd. Liberty, Kentucky on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to the time of the services. Burial will be in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Voss &Sons Funeral Service, 316 Chestnut St. Seymour, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
