A Father Daughter Dance will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 1 at Emmanuel Church, 1849 First Ave., Seymour.

The cost is $5 per person and is open to the public. There is no cost for those not currently attending a church. Registration is open online at eclife.org/fatherdaughterdance.

The purpose of the event is to celebrate the relationship between fathers or father figures and their daughters up to 12th grade. The theme will be “Winter Wonderland.”

Organizer Keia Blair said 20 scholarships are available for those who cannot afford it but want to attend.

“It’s going to be a super-sweet night of honoring relationships of fathers and daughters,” she said. “It has been very successful at our other campuses, and we are expecting 125-plus at our Seymour campus.”
