The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety is scheduled to meet at 11 a.m. today at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.
Agenda items include a report from Jarin Gladstein, director of water pollution control, about a force main project at the Mutton Creek subdivision and discussion for possible approval of a contract for the installation of a traffic pre-emption system.
The system is designed to give emergency response vehicles a green light on their approach to a signalized intersection while providing a red light to conflicting approaches. It is being funding by federal pandemic relief funding.
