Marshall Ray Holstine, passed away at his home in Houston on the morning of December 2, 2022. He was 73.

Marshall entered this life on August 30, 1949 in New Albany, Indiana. He was the son of Kenneth Holstine and Wilma Wheeler. He was the younger brother to Ronnie, and the older brother to Darrell, Brenda, Mike, Eric, and Cheryl. Marshall grew up in Salem and then later settled in Houston. Marshall grew up in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School,. He would later settle in Houston

Marshal was a loving father and grandpa. He was a gun enthusiast and trader. He was an active sport shooter and hunter. Marshal was a truck driver. He drove for Don Sumpter Trucking for over 24 years, and then later drove for Hauer Excavating and Trucking Company for almost 10 years before retiring from the road.

Surviving to share memories of Marshall are his children, son, Brad Holstine and his wife Stacy of Medora, daughter, Kimberly Allman and her husband Jason, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, brothers, Ronnie Holstine and his wife Shirley of Salem, Darrell Holstine and his wife Debbie of Vallonia, Brenda Holstine of Scottsburg, Eric Wheeler of Vallonia, and Cheryl Tolliver of Jasper, Tennessee.

He was preceded by his parents, and a brother Mike Holstine.

In keeping with Marshalls’ wishes, there will be no services.
