Friends of the Jackson County Public Library plans to hold its bimonthly sale from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
Special Friends-members-only sales are from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
There will be some surplus computers, cameras and other technology items for sale this weekend as well as a special section of holiday materials.
Depending on the number of DVDs currently available, they may be buy one, get one free. Regular item sale prices are $1 for adult hardbacks, softbound books, DVD movies and music CDs and 50 cents for children’s and young adult books and small paperbacks.
Anyone unable to visit the sale may shop from the ongoing sales in the Seymour Library Book Nook or sales carts at the Crothersville and Medora libraries during regular hours.
Donations for the sales are accepted during regular library hours.
Anyone interested in becoming a Friend of the Library or renewing their annual membership for 2023 will find the forms at the sale, at the checkout desks or online at myjclibrary.org/friends.
Annual dues are $5 for individuals, $10 for family, $25 for donor and $50 for benefactor.
