The Rise Above exhibit will be free to the public this week for anyone who wants to learn more about the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots.
It will be open to the public from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. today. On Saturday, it will be open from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
The exhibit is at Freeman Municipal Airport, 1025 A Ave., Seymour.
Two documentary short films are shown inside a trailer containing a small movie theater with an extra-wide screen similar to IMAX.
One film is about the Tuskegee Airmen, and the other is about WASPs.
The exhibit is part of dedication week for the new Freeman Field Mutiny Indiana State Historical Marker and two life-sized statues of Tuskegee Airmen.
The Tuskegee Airmen memorial dedication will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Municipal Airport.
