BROWNSTOWN

Donna Rae Hattabaugh, 67, of Brownstown, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at her home. She was born in Bedford, IN on December 1, 1954, to the late William Ed Hattabaugh &Neellenia C. (Jordan) Hattabaugh Reynolds. She was formerly married to Bobby Root.

Donna was a retired manager for Circle K. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles, and the American Legion. Donna enjoyed being outdoors, was a collector of red birds and she loved going to casinos and out to eat. She loved her dogs, Tuffy &Chloe Belle, but most of all, she loved being with her family.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Leah Wheeler (Bradley Edwards) &Amberly (Clinton) Gossar; companion, Kevin Poore; brother, Billy Dale Hattabaugh; sisters: Marcia Carol Anderson (Gene Akemon), Betty Marlene (Tom) Harding, &Paula Jo Hattabaugh; grandchildren: Ethan Wheeler, Montana Wheeler, Zachary Spence, Kage Spence, &Jaylen Spence; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces &nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Harold Edward &Terry Lee Hattabaugh.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home with Bruce Perry officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at White River Valley Cemetery, Medora. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hattabaugh Family in care of Johnson Funeral Home.
