Constance Lynn “Conni” Atteberry, 74, of Seymour, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, IN.

Conni was born on August 1, 1948, in Sonoma County, California. She was the daughter of Robert and Florence (Foss) Atteberry.

Conni was a 1966 Santa Rose High School graduate in Santa Rosa, California. After high school, she worked at Hewlett-Packard and Liberty Mutual in California. When she moved to Indiana she worked at Home Depot in Seymour, IN, and at the Senior Citizens in Seymour, IN. She was also a member of the 107 Club at the Senior Citizens.

Conni was a free spirit, used to ride a Harley, and was a no-nonsense tough lady that was very literal and to the point, that’s what her friends liked and appreciated about her. You always knew where you stood with her point of view on things. She has a close-knit circle of friends that she has left behind with a great sense of what a true friendship really is, Connie exemplified that quality. She was a lover of beefy muscle cars as well, her car was always shining and music bumping loudly as she rolled down the street with her Bentley grill customed installed on her Chrysler 300. She had a huge heart for cats and was an avid lover of cats.

Survivors include her caregivers, John Turner &Patrick Jones of Seymour, IN, and several cats that she adored.

Conni was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Florence Atteberry, and 1 brother, Michael Atteberry.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Adams Family Funeral Homes &Crematory Crothersville. After Conni’s cremation is completed, her cremains will be going to her longtime friend, Viki, back to Conni’s hometown in California per her final wishes.

Memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Jackson County.
