GREENWOOD

Jerry E. Fogleman, 73, of Greenwood, passed away on August 23, 2022. He was born on February 14, 1949 in Morgan County to the late Wilbur Fogleman and Rose Thimlar.

He was a 1966 graduate of Martinsville High School, a graduate of Purdue in Electrical Engineering, and MBA from Indiana University.

Jerry retired from Indianapolis Power and Light and after retirement he was a consultant for Anderson Electric.

He enjoyed golfing, boating, watching sports, and his annual wedding anniversary trip to Mexico. He especially loved spending time with family and friends. His eyes would light up at the sight of his daughters and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janet (Dringenburg) Fogleman; daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Brown, Gina Greene, and Angela (Greg) Hill; grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Shane Greene, Matthew Brown, Makaylah, Makinley, Gunnar Hill, Gregory and Aliyah Hill; brother, Gary (Diana) Fogleman; sister, Missy (Bill) Franzmann; sister-in-law, Darlene (Mike) Schepman; and brother-in-law, Dean (Kim) Dringenburg.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mindie Lambert.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the service time at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135.

Memorial contributions may be made to an Animal Rescue Shelter or Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
