Frances L. Cockerham, 88, of Seymour, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at her home. She had been ill for 2 1/2 years. Frances was a member of Vallonia Christian Church. She worked for Medora Plastics, Holm Industries, &Family Dollar. She earned her GED when she was in her 60’s and was very proud of her accomplishment. Frances enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, cross stitch, &watching NASCAR.

She was born on October 3, 1933, in Seymour, IN, to the late Noah &Florence (Roberts) Davidson. On September 4, 1948, she married Asa Cecil Farmer and he died on December 10, 1990. In March of 1993, she married Donald Cockerham and died on January 30, 2009.

Survivors include her 3 daughters: Wonda June (Jeff) Shutters, Brenda Fay (Tony) Beckett, &Karen Marie (Tony) Schrink; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; &6 great-great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; 5 brothers: Leonard, Chester, Willie, Meredith “Doggy”, &Carlo Davidson; &3 sisters: Virginia Schwein, Rosie Wheeler, &Ocie Wheeler.
