The Crothersville Community School Corp. board of education will have a special business meeting and the annual board retreat Sunday in a meeting room at Hampton Inn, 247 N. Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour.

The agenda for the special business meeting that starts at 2 p.m. includes consideration of approval to employ personnel. That’s open to the public and press.

The board retreat will be conducted as an executive session at 2:15 p.m. That’s closed to the public and press.

The retreat will include discussion of the corporation’s mission, vision and goals and land acquisition and presentations by Superintendent Chrystal Street, elementary school Principal Whitney Reinhart and junior-senior high school Principal Doug Ballinger. Board members also will have a discussion, and all attendees will have dinner before adjourning.
