The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church recently met in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.

Janice Brock called the meeting to order with 12 members present. Lois Geuder gave devotions and followed with prayer, and Judy McDonald read the secretary’s report, which was approved.

Betty Guinn reported on the amount in the treasury.

Grace Low did not send any cards or flowers.

Paula Stafford said she would like members to come up with money-making projects.

There will be no July meeting, but the August meeting will be the 27th with a pitch-in. Loretta Riehl and her committee are in charge.

The group voted to make a donation to Community Provisions of Jackson County in Seymour.

Janice Brock thanked Geuder for the red and white carnations and flags on the table. Refreshments were served.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
