Alice Marie (Isley) Reed, age 87, a resident of Brownstown, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Isley and the late Flossie Marie (Tripp) Isley.

Alice was a Christian by faith. She was an “old soul” that believed in the old time ways of doing things. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, garage sales and sitting on the porch visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Darrell Reed and his wife Debra of Scottsburg, Indiana and Drew Reed and his wife Sandy of Seymour, Indiana. Two daughters, Darlene L. Jones of Indianapolis, Indiana and Debra Weddle and her husband Bud of Medora, Indiana. One sister, Marjorie Riley of Scottsburg, Indiana. Seventeen grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Junior Reed, two sons, Dallas Eugene Reed and Dennis James Reed and one brother, Kenneth Reed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Houston, Cemetery.
