I-65 ramp closures planned next week

Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to continue bridge repairs on northbound Interstate 65 next week in Jackson County.

Additional work is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday between mile marker 49 and mile marker 50 near Seymour.

Motorists can expect northbound lane and ramp closures at Exit 50 (Seymour) from approximately 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Affected ramps include the northbound off-ramp to westbound U.S. 50 and northbound on-ramp from eastbound U.S. 50.

Lane and ramp closures will be postponed if needed due to inclement weather. Work was completed at locations on southbound I-65 earlier this week.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones.
