Rent space at history center during U.S. 50 yard sale

The Jackson County History Center is offering spaces to be rented out in its livery barn during the 23rd annual Great U.S. Yard Sale.

The cost for using one 6-foot table is $10, while it’s $15 for two tables.

People will be allowed to set up May 19, and the livery barn will be open May 20 and 21 for the sale.

Space is limited to 14 tables. To reserve a spot at the history center, which is at 105 N. Sugar St., Brownstown, call Margo Brewer at 812-525-2295 and leave a message.

From its start, the sale has grown to a large annual event with participation in Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland, according to a news release from founder Tom Taylor.
