The Seymour Community School Corp. board of education will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Seymour Central Service Center, 1420 Corporate Way.

The agenda includes the consent agenda, communications and recognition, donations and grants and an update on the school construction projects.

Also on the agenda are the following action items: Contract cancellation recommendation, 2022-23 student handbooks, new classes at Seymour High School for next school year, summer feed program, point of sale system replacement, PA systems at Seymour Middle School, Cortland and Seymour-Redding elementary schools, middle school weight room update and capital projects fund summer projects.

The meeting is open to the public and press.

At 6 p.m., the board will meet in executive session to discuss school safety and security measures, receive information about individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction and discuss strategy with respect to any of the following: Initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing.
