The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church met March 22 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.

President Janice Brock called the meeting to order and told about members who were sick and said she was working on getting new members.

Loretta Riehl gave devotions on the signs of spring and why people are thankful for this time of the year.

Brock talked about the gifts and money that were given to the church’s new minister and family.

The televisions donated by the group to the day care have been put up and were very appreciated.

Brock also announced Barb Bentley will be the club’s historian and Paula Stafford will be in charge of sales.

Betty Guinn gave the treasurer’s report and read a thank-you note from the Pearl Fletcher family.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction. Refreshments followed with the leader, Riehl, and her group.

The next meeting is April 26 with Helen Horton’s group as hostess.
