SEYMOUR

Patsy Joann (Stevens) Campbell, age 71, a native of Austin, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed from this life on Monday, March 21, 2022 at her residence. She was born on August 14, 1950 to the late Ben Stevens and the late Virginia (Scott) Stevens. Patsy was a Christian by faith. She will forever be remembered as a feisty, spunky lady that never took no for an answer unless she is the one saying no. She loved camping, fishing, going to Gatlinburg and the casino. She has a deep love for her family and they will forever treasure the memories of their “brother and sister outings”.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 37 years, Lanny Campbell of Seymour, Indiana. Three sons, Gary Gayhart and his wife Sherry of Taylorsville, Indiana, Randy Cockerham and his wife Jennifer of Seymour, Indiana and Brad Campbell and his wife Michelle of Denver, Colorado. One daughter, Virginia Blocker of Seymour, Indiana. Two brothers, Nickey Stevens and his wife Darlene of Austin, Indiana and Timmey Sevens and his wife Marie of Brownstown, Indiana and one sister, Jean Moldero of Scottsburg, Indiana. Two brother in laws, Anthony Campbell and his wife Joy of Greenfield, Indiana and Brian Campbell and his wife Deanna of Seymour, Indiana. One sister in law, Kelley Elsner of Seymour, Indiana.

Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren and her mother-in law, Wilma Campbell of Seymour, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Homer Stevens, Benny Ray Stevens and Jerry Stevens. One sister, Betty Hicks and one great granddaughter, Emma Rose Rogers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home with Services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating.
