BROWNSTOWN

Brenda Kay Casey, age 74, of Brownstown, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Casey was employed with Arvin Industries for more than 15 years.

Born on August 25, 1947, in Columbus, Brenda was the daughter of Cecil and Mary Hornback Denny, both of whom preceded her in death. On October 8, 1977, in Robertson County, she married Charles Casey and he preceded her in death on March 6, 2008.

Brenda loved her family, and she had a passion for cooking. Cooking fueled her soul and family eating lifted her spirits. Brenda was a woman who helped many when help was needed. She will be sorely missed.

The family extends sincere gratitude to Adaptive Health Services for their special care given to Brenda at her time of need.

Survivors include daughter, Michele (David) Fell of Brownstown; daughter, Melissa Walker of Brownstown; son, Chris (Deb) Miller of Franklin; daughter, Angie (Joe) Doyle of Seymour; daughter, Belinda Ford of Wyoming; three sisters: Debbie Micheals, Nancy (Larry) Elliott, and Karen Hoene; nine grandchildren: Josh Hacker, Joseph (Donna) Hacker, Kira Pickett, Kendra Meadows, Andrew Dixon, Justin Lucas, Jonathan Lucas, Kasey Cortez, and Kristin Barr; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Brenda was also preceded in death by a son, Paul Miller.

Funeral services for Brenda Kay Casey will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with James Blankenbaker officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.

Memorials may be given to Red Sky Rescue.
