The Jackson County Public Library is hosting Jackson County weaver Dee Nierman at 2 p.m. March 26 in the the meeting room of the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
Nierman, a fourth generation weaver, will discuss how she makes rag rugs on her historic loom and be presented with a 2020 Indiana Heritage Fellowship award.
To remain socially distant, there will be a limited number of participants. A Zoom link also will be available upon request. Following the program, the video will be available on the Seymour Library YouTube page.
If the county COVID-19 status should return to red or orange, masks will be required.
