Crothersville Elementary School has announced pre-K and kindergarten roundups for the 2022-23 school year will both be April 13 at the school, 109 S. Preston St., Crothersville.

For pre-K, children must be 4 on or before Aug. 1 of this year to register for the On My Way Pre-K program.

For kindergarten, children must be 5 on or before Aug. 1 of this year.

CES Principal Whitney Reinhart said the roundups are good opportunities for kids and their parents or guardians to see the school, meet the teachers and begin the enrollment process for the fall.

She said the school is in a good position with pre-K because those kids go straight from that room to a kindergarten room, so she and the teachers know the families, and they don’t have to go through the formal process during roundup since the school already has the enrollment information.

“We’re excited to welcome them,” Reinhart said. “Very excited faces that day.”
