Drawing and painting classes are going to be offered at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

Preregistration is required for one or both of the following classes.

The first is a master copy class, where participants create their own reproductions of an artwork by another artist. This class will be offered from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The cost is $30 for nonmembers and $25 for SICA members.

The second class is an earth pallet oil painting self-portrait class in which a Friday night demonstration will be given, followed by class/studio time from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $90 for nonmembers and $80 for members.

Private lessons also are available at $25 per hour for nonmembers and $20 per hour for members.
