Roy and Marilyn Reedy celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary recently with a small family gathering.

Roy and the former Marilyn Robbins were married Nov. 18, 1956, at Brownstown United Methodist Church. The Rev. Wayland Siders officiated.

The couple are the parents of four daughters, Jane (Bob) Martin, Sarah (Kamron) Wright, Susan (Bruce) Wynn and Joyce (Mark) McKinney. They have 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Marilyn retired from Hoosier Christian Village as the dietary manager.

Roy was a member of the National Guard from 1953 to 1961 and retired from beef and grain farming in 1995.

Both are members of Brownstown Christian Church and actively participate in the Golden Wheels, LIFE group and card club.
