Elizabeth Ann Brown was born January 28th 1940, in Seymour Indiana, to Lloyd and Jean (Steinkamp) Moren. Her friends and family called her Ann. She passed away on November 23, 2021. Service and celebration of her life is being held Saturday, December 4th 2021, 5:00 PM at The Word’s Christian Fellowship Center in Wilson, NC.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved God and her family beyond measure.

Born and raised in Seymour she worked at the family business, Steinkamp’s Confectionary. She had many friends and was proud to be a part of her girlfriends group. They called themselves the “Naughty Nine”.

Ann married Ronald Gable Brown in 1960. In 1974, Ann and Ron joined the Way International Ministry. In 1980 they enrolled in the Way College of Biblical Research in Rome City, IN. In 1983 she and her husband graduated with Associates Degrees in Theology.

They had many adventures together spreading the Gospel, studying the Word of God, and growing spiritually. Ron and Ann faithfully taught the Word of God together and blessed many lives for many years.

In 1983 Ann and Ron moved to North Carolina which they would make their final earthly home.

Ann, along with her husband Ron, had been involved with The Word’s Christian Fellowship Center in North Carolina since its founding in 1996. Together they held Christian fellowships in their home for many years.

Ann loved spending quality time with her family and left behind many beloved memories of summer family vacations, Christmas celebrations, Saturday family lunches, and so much more.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Brown.

She is survived by her brother, Richard “Dick” Moren and her sister, Beverly Miller, both of Seymour. She is survived by her daughters Jill Brown, Tracy Watkins, Courtney Hart, and her son Casey Brown, along with 7 grand-children and 5 great-grandchildren.
