SEYMOUR

Thomas Tom W. Traub 75 of Seymour, IN passed away at Columbus Regional Hospital on November 19, 2021. Tom was born in 1946 in Effingham, Il to the late Fredrick Joe Traub and Alliene Kluthe Traub.

In 1965 at the Bethseida Church in rural Dieterich, Il he married the love of his life Carolyn Mills.

Tom was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Eagles club. He retired from R and R Donnelly as a printer. Tom was a avid Cubs fan and a closet Cardinals fan. He played on a traveling fastpitch softball team in the 70’s for DJ’s Party Supply. He also liked watching old westerns and cooking shows on tv and playing games on his computer and phone, and also a NASCAR fan, but most of all enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Tom is survived by his wife Carolyn, son Tavis Lee (Sherry) Traub, daughter Lori Sue (Greg) Lestig, grandchildren; Kyle (Natalya) Lustig, Tyler Davis, Elexus (Blade) McKinney, Piper Asher, Gwyneth Morris, TJ Traub, and Trent Traub, great grandchild William Lestig, brothers; Donnie Joe (Gail) Traub, John Mark (Julie) Traub, sister Karla Beth (Andrew) Drowes.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 at Voss Funeral Service from 4 to 8 pm and on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Services will be held on November 23, 2021 at 11 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to the Broadcast of Services at Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the family for medical expenses.
