Salvation Army seeks local Red Kettle Campaign coordinator

The Salvation Army Service Extension of Jackson County needs a coordinator to lead this year’s Red Kettle Campaign.

Money raised through the campaign helps Jackson County families with emergency assistance, including utilities, lodging, rent, transportation, medical needs, food, clothing, disaster assistance and other emergency needs.

This is the only emergency assistance available of its kind for county residents.

If the organization is unable to hire a kettle coordinator, there will not be dollars available for county residents who are facing financial hardships.

The part-time job is a paid position. Anyone interested may call Kendall Lambring at 812-522-8718.

If the campaign happens locally this year, it will kick off Nov. 26 and run through Dec. 24, and The Salvation Army will need local volunteer bell ringers. Sign up to ring at registertoring.com.
