The Seymour Associate chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa recently met at Stahl’s Cafe and Deli in Brownstown for the fall meeting.

Hostesses for the event were Martha Brown, Brenda Papin, Nancy Stidham, Ruth Ann Rebber and Debbie Laitinen.

Laura Kirtley, a member of the chapter, shared information about the Born in a Small Town initiative, which is the Schneck Foundation’s Giving Tuesday campaign.

Schneck Medical Center recently was named a Level II NICU, allowing babies to be delivered and cared for as early as 32 weeks gestation.

This year’ s Giving Tuesday will be Nov. 30. The campaign will support the NICU, which will allow families to stay closer to home when their babies arrive early.

The associate chapter, led by Becky Bishop, voted to donate $500 to the Born in a Small Town initiative.
