Bethany Road in the Hominy Ditch area in Crothersville closed Monday for sewer work.

During the closure, motorists can use Benham Avenue heading eastbound only since it’s a one-way street or Rider Avenue to reach Park Avenue or Kovener Street to detour northbound and southbound.

Drivers are asked to use caution in these areas as there will be crews present daily.

As the contractor moves east replacing the sewer along Hominy Ditch, there will be closures of Park Avenue and Kovener Street at different times. Bethany Road will be passable before these closures occur.
