Michael Kent Campbell, age 66, a native of Jasper, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born on November 24, 1954 to the late John Albert Campbell and the late Edna (Kunz) Campbell.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He loved music and was quite the collector of Vinyl records. Among his favorites were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Beach Boys. He loved going to flea markets and was an avid fan of President Abraham Lincoln. His relationship with God was something that he held very close to his heart and loved to tell people about his lord. He treasured God and Country. He was always happy and loved to make others happy. He loved animals and was a loyal friend to each one he came in contact with.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Jeannie (Richardson) Campbell of Seymour, Indiana. Four sons, Chad Watson and his wife Dusty of Seymour, Indiana, Steven Campbell and his wife Sarah of Columbus, Indiana, John Campbell of Westport, Indiana and Zachary Campbell and his wife Miranda of Jasper, Indiana. One daughter, Jennifer Robbins of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, David Campbell and his wife Gail of Washington, Indiana and one sister, Patty Russell and her husband Mark of Ottwell, Indiana.

Fifteen grandchildren, Meagan Watson, Chelsea Johnson, Sammie Robbins, Emma Campbell, Olivia Campbell, Adrienne Cox, Payton Campbell, Luke Campbell, Brady Campbell, Ayden Campbell, Bryce Campbell, Logan Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Alexis Robbins and Alexandre Robbins.

Seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Christie Cox and a set of infant twins, Jeremy and Melissa Campbell.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with a Sunset Celebration of Life Service to begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor John Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be directed to Red Sky or the Jackson County Humane Society.
