Brownstown council plans to hold a special meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at town hall to discuss financing the issuance of bonds or procurement of a loan for capital improvement projects.

The projects that could be funded if the funding is obtained include a proposed expansion of Fairview Cemetery, new playground equipment for the park, new water fixtures for the town pool and police cars.

The meeting is open to the public and press.
