A ribbon-cutting ceremony recently was held at 1852 Cafe in downtown Seymour. Seymour Mayor Matt Nicholson, far left, and Jackson County Chamber of Commerce President Dan Robison, far right, hold the ribbon that was being cut by owners Jason and Stacy Harmon with the eatery’s three employees, Blaney Phillips, Sarah Miller and Alicia Crites, directly behind them. Other business owners and employees also were on hand for the ceremony.
