Karen “Sue” Taylor, 77 of Crothersville, IN, passed away at 3:18 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN surrounded by her family. Sue was born Friday, March 3, 1944, in Seymour, IN. She is the daughter of Orville Sanders and Bonnie (Tatlock) Hughes, who are both deceased. Sue was a Crothersville High School graduate. She retired after working 25 years for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, IN. Sue was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan. She enjoyed making crafts, cooking for her family, shopping, playing the lottery, and she loved her cat, Bonnie. Sue loved to joke and had a magnetic, loving and charming personality. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include, 1 daughter, Lori Ann (Terry) Spellman, of Scottsburg, IN, 1 son, Tony Davidson, of Crothersville, IN, 3 grandchildren, her “favorite and only granddaughter”, Tiffany (Travis) Rutherford of Scottsburg, IN, Tyler Spellman of Louisville, KY, and Devin (Janea) Davidson of Scottsburg, IN, 3 great grandchildren, Ray, Garrett, and Nate Rutherford. Sue lost the love of her life, her fianc?, and best friend of many years, Billy Gene Seals who passed away on January 4, 2019. They shared over 25 years of happy memories together. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Stidham. Private funeral services will be conducted by Pastor David Guernsey at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Adams Family Funeral Homes &Crematory in Crothersville. Public visitation is open to family and friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Homes &Crematory in Crothersville.
