Frederick E Morgan Jr, 80, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 surrounded by his daughters.

Born November 13, 1940 in Terre Haute, Indiana, he was the son of Frederick E Morgan Sr. and Charlotte (Voelker) Morgan who preceded him in death.

He was a 1958 graduate of Otter Creek High School. He married Madonna Sue Roberts in 1959 who preceded him in death as well, and then graduated Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1962 as a proud member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.

After college he was employed at American Can. In the meantime, he pursued a lifetime passion of becoming a pilot and later instructed many others who were chasing their dreams to fly. He and his wife opened and ran Water World (pool company) in Seymour, Indiana. They then moved to St Paul, Minnesota, for his job at American Can which was shortly followed by another move to Kailua, Hawaii where he worked for Dole Food Company. He then ended up in Daytona Beach, Florida where he enjoyed hosting family gatherings at his beach house. He traveled all over the world and had many stories to share with anyone that would listen. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge Social #86, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, The American Legion and The Eagles.

He is survived by daughters, Kim (Dale) Swider and Shannon (George) Covey, grandchildren; Suzannah (Terry, Jr) Miller, Trent (Sara) Kimbrell, Tyler (Ashley) Kimbrell, Rowson (Breelyn) Slane; great-grandchildren Kaelyn, Kaydence, Hayden, Harrison, Rilee, Camilla and Hayes; sister Kathryn A. (Nicholas S, III) Carava.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons Frederick (Trey) Morgan III and Frederick (Fritz) Morgan IV and brother Frank Morgan.

A celebration of life will be held at Chateau de Pique Winery in Seymour, IN, on August 28th from 4-8 p.m.
