Todd Mellencamp, 57, of Seymour, passed away on August 15, 2021, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

He was born in 1963 to Roger Dale Mellencamp and Naomi Joyce (Polley) Mellencamp. Todd was a computer programmer/ software developer. He loved to garden, growing sweet corn, and having a roadside stand to sell corn to local and traveling people. Todd donated many hours to the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, loved helping others, teaching his amazing skills and trades. He loved his children and was so proud of the men they have become. Todd was a very proud Papaw and cherished time spent with the grandchildren. Todd loved his family dearly but more than anything, he loved his Lord and Savior.

He married Donna Marie (Hocking) Mellencamp on July 23, 1983, and she survives.

Todd is survived by his wife and best friend Donna; children, Blake Andrew (Lauren) Mellencamp and Zachary Dale (Chaille) Mellencamp; grandchildren, Rowyn, Everhett, Emersyn, and Emmett; his father, Roger Mellencamp.

He is preceded in death by his infant son, Brandon Daniel Mellencamp; his mother Naomi Joyce Mellencamp; sister Debra Copeland.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 4-8pm.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 12pm with visitation one hour prior to service.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Queensville Community Church or Indiana Children’s Wish Fund.
