Jackson Snelling, a contestant on Season 19 of “American Idol,” will be singing at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at Jonesville Christian Church, 609 S. Commerce Drive, Jonesville.

Snelling, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Austin, won 2020 Video of the Year at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, for his original song “If I Only Knew.” This year, he has six nominations, including “Storyteller” for Album of the Year and Video of the Year.

The public is invited to enjoy a morning of music and fellowship and meet Snelling. A pitch-in dinner will follow the service, and attendees may bring a covered dish to share.
