Debbie Ann (Jent) Alexander, age 69, a native of Hazard, Kentucky and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed from this life of Friday, June 25, 2021 at her residence. She was born on November, 10, 1952 to the late Willie Jent and the late Hazel (Deaton) Jent.

Debbie was a member of Midway Apostolic Church. She loved reading, fishing, bird watching, and yard sales. Cooking was her passion and would often cook and feed people. Some of her “specialties” included chicken and dumplings, seven layer taco dip, fried chicken, dreamsicle cake, dirt cake and cheese balls. She lived by the motto “don’t hate people, hate their ways”.

She is survived by her two daughters, Leanna Gayle (Jaynes) Temple and her husband William of Brownstown, Indiana and Morgan Davis and her husband Rick of Seymour, Indiana. Three brothers, Harold Jent of Uniontown, Indiana, Greg Jent and his wife Betty of Jennings Co, Indiana and Mike Jent and his wife Linda of Scott, County, Indiana. One sister, Lorraine “Lucy” Trapp and her husband Steve .of Uniontown, Indiana. Seven grandchildren, Courtney Brooks, Katlin Helton, Jacob Helton, Jordyn Davis, Camden Davis, Maddison Alexander and Hunter Davis. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Gerald L. Jaynes and one sister, Brenda Sue Carruthers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Russell Raney officiating. Private family burial will be held at Uniontown Cemetery.
