Tampico school reunion held in Brownstown

The annual Tampico school reunion was April 9 at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.

Stephen Cunningham was master of ceremonies, and Gene Elmer Robbins gave the invocation for the evening meal.

Cunningham gave a tribute to his mother, Earline Beldon Cunningham, who was a teacher at Tampico for two years.

The classes of 1950, 1951, 1960, 1961, 1970 and 1971 were recognized.

Those attending, who spent the evening visiting with classmates and friends, were Judith Wessel, Nina Hackman, Charles and Vivian Stahl, Sue Peters, Barbara Prince, Gene and Linda Robbins, Stephen Cunningham, Ron Cunningham, Rudolph and Alma Hamblin, Loretta Hoevener, Craig Hoevener, Donald Sturgeon, David Sturgeon, Roland and Anita Sturgeon, Don Wessel, Mike and Aurra Deaton, Velma Nierman, Brenda Wright, Francis Elliott, Janette Elliott, Doris Otte, Larry and Beverly Babbs, Ron and Peggy Broshears, Tom and Janet Bolton, David and Sandy Hackman, Gary and Kathy Wehmiller, Lloyd Dean and Mary Otte, Bart and Donna Maxie, Melvin and Marjorie Bishop, Joyce Cravens, Joan Bode, Bill and Marlis Kidd, Ronald and Opal Wessel Roark, Gary Cunningham, Richard and Carolyn Peters, Bill Wessel, Elberta Darlage, Delbert and Alberta Tormoehlen, Carol Deaton, Tabitha Ashcraft, Doris Kleine, Ray and Melissa Kleine, Carolyn Jones, Jane Allen, Richard Tormoehlen and Robert Tatlock.

Nancy Mitchell and Rosa Meadors were in the Class of 1971.

Members of the planning committee were Bill Wessel, Elberta Darlage, Janette Elliott and Donna Maxie.

The 2022 school reunion will be April 9 at Pewter Hall.
